Grant Brim has been practicing law in the Atlanta area for the last eleven years. He specializes in corporate law and business transactions, and serves as the outsourced general counsel for small and medium-sized businesses in the area. Grant’s goal is to provide sound advice and legal services that will serve to protect his client’s interests. He has extensive experience in reviewing and drafting operating, shareholder, and partnership agreements, employment contracts and policy manuals, business asset purchase and sale documents, private placement memorandums, and a variety of other legal documents.
Grant earned his law degree from Georgia State University Law School. Prior to attending law school, Grant earned a master’s degree in psychology from the University of West Georgia.
When Grant is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching and attending football and baseball games, traveling, and playing the guitar.
Jodi L. Green, Esq. is an ERISA compliance attorney at Tatum, Hillman, & Powell, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia.
She counsels fiduciaries, investment advisors, and service providers during all stages of a retirement plan, and she provides solutions to complex ERISA issues.
Ms. Green served as a senior investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) in the Employee Benefits Security Administration for over a decade. She received several DOL Secretary’s Exceptional Achievement Awards for leading high-profile cases and for training other investigators. While at DOL, she conducted over 85 ERISA audits and is experienced in compliance issues affecting all types of employee benefit plans. Ms. Green holds a J.D. degree from the Georgia State University College of Law, and she currently serves as a member on the Legal and Legislative Committee for SHRM in Atlanta.
Benjamin F. Shoemaker was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, Ben moved to North Carolina to work for Young Life. He married his best friend, Kristen, and they quickly started a growing family. After 6 years in Christian ministry, Ben helped expand a regional family-owned business in Charleston, South Carolina. While helping run a business, Ben decided to pursue his growing passion, the law. Three years later, Ben graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
The Shoemakers moved to the Atlanta area in 2014 when Ben accepted the job as serving as in-house counsel and director of risk management for the Boosterthon Fun Run. After 3 incredible years with Boosterthon, Ben began working in the investment world focusing on charitable giving, estate-planning, and complex gifts. With experience in family-owned businesses, estate-planning, and non-profits, Ben is perfectly positioned to assist your business or family in all its legal needs.
When not working, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 kids. He is a member and elder at Perimeter Church in Johns Creek. He is passionate about working out with his F3 brothers and cheering on his beloved Oklahoma Sooners.
